Nokia enters netbook market with Booklet 3G

Nokia, the name associated with the mobile phones, as announced its foray into the netbook market. The Finnish telecom giant will be releasing a Windows-based netbook - the Nokia Booklet 3G.

Nokia's netbook, like most netbooks, is powered by the Intel Atom Processor. The Booklet 3G's USP is its 12-hour battery life.

Weighing 1.25 kg, the netbook comes encased in an aluminum chassis with 3G/ HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The mini-laptop also comes with an HDMI port for HD video out, a front facing camera for video calling, integrated Bluetooth and an SD card reader.

Other features include a 10" glass HD ready display and integrated A-GPS which, working with the Ovi Maps gadget, can pinpoint precise positions. The Nokia Booklet 3G also brings a number of other Ovi experiences.
